Jareth the Zombie King

A bit of Death Troopers fanart, because that book is XD. Some people found it creepy, I guess, but I was cracking up at some of the descriptions. Anyway, it's more entertaining than any other SW book I've read (okay, it's the only one I've read all the way through)

This is Jareth Sartoris, the main imperial. He's really a bit of a jerk (understatement), it's true, but he was one of the more interesting characters. His part of the story felt like it just got chopped off near the end, though, which is too bad.

There's only one Jareth that I know about, and that's the Goblin King. I was originally going to give him the David Bowie hair and stuff, but elected to make it a little more serious instead. I can draw Goblin King!Sartoris some other time.

Actually, given that most of the other imperials are named after rock stars and bands, could his first name be a convoluted reference to David Bowie? Maybe? *shrug*

Originally he was going to be surrounded by zombies, but I can't draw zombies without making them look grotesquely cute, hence the red eyes and hands instead. And since nobody but Joe Schreiber knows WTC an imperial corrections uniform looks like, I just made it a generic grey one.

My only real gripe is that he came out looking too young, when I'm picturing something in the 37-40 range. Ah, well. I can probably celebrate the probability that I've just done the first fanart EVAR of any of the DT cast. *woop woop*
